Wife Lifting: Why Women Should Lift

I mentioned my wife and her amazing weight loss in my recent post about Spinach-Bean Glop. What I didn't tell you was that in addition to eating her own special brand of Glop, she is also a serious gym rat person who works out but is sensitive to being called the aforementioned name. She lifts. She lifts a lot. I've been to work out with her twice and she is incredible.
And yet, it was hard for her to get started because of a stereotypical crap about women and lifting. I've been trying to encourage her to get online and share her story (if she does, I'll let you know) but in the meantime here are some great links from women's lifting sites that explain why women should put in some time on the "other side" of the gym.
